The lease on the Aerodrome is held by Airways Aero Associations, once a subsidiary of British Airways, who run the British Airways flying club from the airfield.They provide Air Traffic Control, Firefighting and other services to all the park users. The shareholding of AAA Ltd was sold in 2007 to Arora Family Trust,
of which Surinder Arora and his family are beneficiaries. Airfield Tenants Wycombe Air Park is also home to a number of tenant companies, including flight training organisations, engineers and approved medical examiners. Flight Training Organisations: Booker Gliding Club, Wycombe Air Centre, Light Sport Flying Club and Schoold, Helicopter Services and Heli Air Ltd[4]. Approved Medical Examiners: Dr Andy Tobias is the resident AME at WAP. Engineering and Avionics: Airways Aero Associations Engineering, Air Training Services, Wycombe Air Centre Engineering, Personal Plane Services, Heli Air and Lees Avionics. AeroExpo Europe Wycombe Air Park has been home to AeroExpo General Aviation Air Exhibition since 2006. The core of the exhibition features static aircraft displays from major manufacturers such as Cirrus, Piper and Cesna. In 2009 the exhibition also took over 3 hangers, converted to exhibition halls as well as several marquees. Future of the Aerodrome Since the sale of the lease of the aerodrome speculation has been rife as to the new owner's intention for the site along with those of the Wycombe District Council. The current lease arrangement, under which the Air Park pays a nominal £42,800 per annum rent to Wycombe District Council, expires in 2014. A feasibility study is underway to determine if the site will be suitable for the development of a sports stadium to replace Adams Park, the home of Wycombe Wanderers and London Wasps. Alternatively,
the current leaseholders of the Air Park are rumoured to want to expand further, potentially building a hotel on site, extending the runway to allow jet aircraft, and putting in a helicopter link to Heathrow airport - posssibly closing glider activities on site to accommodate this. An application to the Secretary of State for Transport has recently been made, requesting the airfield is 'specified' under the Civil Aviation Act.
If this happens the CAA will directly regulate air traffic at Wycombe Air Park. The application is in response to continuing problems with noise from the airfield, which still generates in excess of 100,000 aircraft movements each year.
Potentially this could limit future growth in aviation operations. The flying club was establish in 1948 by three predecessor airlines of British Airways; British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC), British European Airways (BEA) and British South American Airways (BSAA) as a means to provide private flying at an affordable rate for corporation staff. Originally the club flew from Denham, Hurn and Whitchurch, operating a fleet of Miles Magisters.

During the early part of the 1950s the parent Corporation's withdrew from Whitchurch and Hurn, and as Denham was too small for the club the flying base was transferred to Croydon Airport. As the decade continued the club operated pilot, navigator and engineer training programmes for BOAC, BEA, the Air Ministry and Lufthansa, and helped to set up the National Flying Training School at Bremen as well as Baghdad and Kuwait Flying Schools.

With the closure of Croydon Airport, the club moved again, first to White Waltham Airfield before moving to its present home at Wycombe Air Park in 1965.

Recent Developments
The club is operated by Airways Aero Associations Limited which up until November 2007 was a wholly owned subsidiary of British Airways when it was purchased by the Arora Family Trust.

Since the sale British Airways corporate signage has continued to be removed including the removal of the BA Speedbird logo from the aircraft and the British Airways name. The Chatham Dockyard tail fins have been retained across the fleet with the exception of the de Havilland Chipmunk (G-BXGL) and one of the Piper Warriors (G-SIXT, formerly G-BSSX) which has been painted in a split livery representing the liveries of BEA and BOAC on alternate sides of the aircraft.

Operations
The BAFC operates from Wycombe Air Park, with a fleet of Piper Warrior, Piper Dakota and de Havilland Chipmunk aircraft. The flying club acquired the long term lease to the airfield in 1965, following the closure of RAF Booker, previously on the site. The lease was sold to Surinder Arora, the hotel entrepreneur, in 2007. The lease expires in 2014 and there is speculation that the airfield may become the site of a new stadium for London Wasps and Wycombe Wanderers.
